Gathering data is the first step in engaging with machine learning as an artist. The Data Imagination Workshop will focus on the idea of data in an artistic context. We will talk about the many types of data that might be useful for creative projects. We will do a sequence of activities to broaden our imagination of what data might be and where it might come from. You will be invited to complete the activities in a way that resonates with your own creative practice. The outcome of the workshop will not be a tangible product but new thinking about the creative potential of data. PLEASE NOTE: The workshop will be recorded.
